The Noosa National Park is located in Queensland 124 km north of Brisbane. Several beaches in the park are fantastic for swimming. These beaches are not patrolled, so swimmers need to be aware of strong currents as no lifeguard is on duty. The southern end of Alexandria Bay is unofficially a clothing optional beach. Rock climbing, fishing, surfing and snorkelling are other activities that people enjoy in the Noosa National Park and camping is strictly prohibited.
